Forget me not Collection
MINERVA MOVEMENT
In 2023, Minerva: Forget Me Not began as a tribute to the resilience of women. It has quietly done something powerful.
With every piece purchased, a portion has gone to SaabShares, supporting real women through skill-based education and opportunity. We never stopped — we simply kept going, quietly, consistently, purposefully.
Now, in 2025, it’s time to share what that consistency has created: more stories, more pieces, and more ways for you to wear your values.
Saab Shares was founded on March 5, 2014, by sisters Sabrina Bensawan and Elena Bensawan, who were just 16 and 14 years old at the time. What started as a passion project quickly grew into a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating long-term, sustainable social change. Through initiatives in education, healthcare, and women empowerment, Saab Shares runs programs such as Rumah Belajar, Rumah Baca, and free community clinics, all driven by the sisters’ belief that sharing compassion can truly transform lives.
EMPOWERING WOMEN
ACTIVITIES AT SAAB SHARES
Saabshares is empowering local women by offering hands-on cooking classes that not only teach culinary skills but also foster independence, confidence, and entrepreneurship. These classes serve as a supportive space where women can connect, learn traditional and modern recipes, and gain the knowledge needed to start home-based food businesses or contribute to their households. By focusing on practical, income-generating skills, Saabshares helps create pathways for financial stability and self-reliance, nurturing a stronger, more resilient community of women.
Saabshares is empowering local women through sewing classes that equip them with valuable, practical skills to create and mend garments, opening doors to income-generating opportunities. These classes foster self-reliance and creativity, enabling women to launch tailoring services, produce handmade goods, or contribute to family needs with confidence. More than just technical training, the program builds a sense of community and personal pride, helping women take control of their futures and support one another in their journey toward economic empowerment.
Saabshares is empowering local women through crafting classes that encourage creativity, skill-building, and economic opportunity. These classes provide women with the tools and knowledge to create handmade goods—ranging from accessories to home décor—that can be sold or used to start their own small businesses. Beyond learning new techniques, participants gain confidence, a sense of purpose, and a supportive community where they can share ideas and grow together. Through these programs, Saabshares is helping women turn passion into empowerment and craftsmanship into sustainable livelihoods.
